Jane is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with adults of all ages. Using a systems perspective, she helps clients articulate the concerns they are experiencing and connects them with the variety of resources available to manage and resolve the interpersonal struggles of life in the 21st century. She has worked with both individuals, couples and families for over 30 years.  As an associate professor and advisor for undergraduate students she is fully aware and enjoys working with young adults during this unique time of life transition from adolescence to adulthood.

Jane is also an Associate Professor of Social Work at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL.  She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis in Clinical Social Work.  Prior to moving to Naperville, IL, Jane was a medical social worker at Grady Memorial Hospital and aftercare social worker at The Central Ohio Mental Health Center, Delaware, Ohio. Jane was a clinician with Dunham Counseling (formerly Isenberg and Associates) in Naperville, IL, from 1998 until 2016.  She has served as a supervisor for MSW Aurora student internships at Aurora University as well as a clinical supervisor to social workers who are working towards obtaining their LCSW.

I am consistently amazed at the courage of the people I have worked with, who rather than accepting their normal as being good enough, are willing to ask, could it and how might it be better.

Jane’s greatest joy is being a spouse to her husband and mother to her three adult children, their spouses and granddaughter. She enjoys music, reading, biking, walking, watching Big Ten football and basketball games and connecting with friends and family.
